Now, we want to take the next step and start offering daily payment services to our clients because we believe we can provide better conditions than those currently available on the market.How do you create value?You help create a smooth and reliable banking service for over 150,000 customersYou ensure a high-quality and highly available service to increase customer satisfaction and loyaltyYou participate as a member of an agile team in the design, implementation, testing, and management of the productYou are a true expert in the team whenMaintain Postgres database infrastructure in good shapeImprove scalability, availability and efficiency of database infrastructureProvide feedback to product teams in terms of support and co-operation to improve availability and efficiency of business applicationsMaintain technical documentationUtilize best practices whenever possible, establish and follow procedures for critical activitiesHandle service capacity planning, software performance analysis, and system tuningMaintain the healthy lifecycle status of database infrastructure componentsDrive the company through disaster recovery tests, where we manually turn down pieces of infrastructure to test our systems overall resiliency to failuresOur expectations for youYou have knowledge and understanding of RDBMS concepts and architecture in generalYou have at least 3 years of DBA experience in production environmentsYou are a creative problem solver with strong analytical thinkingYou have proven experience in PostgreSQL database administrationYou have experience with running databases in clustered environments like LXDYou can freely communicate in English (verbal and written)MySQL and/or MongoDB handling is an advantageUniversity degree is an advantageWork locations: Tallinn, Estonia; Tartu, Estonia; Riga, Latvia; Vilnius, Lithuania
