Database Administrator

EPOS Database Administrator (DBA) to take ownership of the EPOS data systems. This role is key to ensuring the integrity, accuracy, and accessibility of our large, data-driven environment — supporting effective commercial and operational decision-making across the business.Key ResponsibilitiesManage and maintain large EPOS databases containing extensive product and transactional data.Use advanced Excel skills to manipulate, analyse, and present complex datasets effectively.Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of all EPOS-related data.Compile and deliver clear, insightful management reports from multiple data sources.Monitor and improve data processes to support commercial, purchasing, and supplier functions.Work cross-functionally to interpret business needs and deliver actionable data insights.Uphold rigorous standards for data governance, integrity, and compliance.About YouProven experience managing and maintaining large, data-heavy systems, ideally within a retail or EPOS environment.Strong general IT knowledge, particularly in data-driven systems (Python, SQL etc...).Demonstrated ability to produce concise, meaningful management and performance reports.Excellent attention to detail and a methodical, accuracy-first approach to data management.Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to liaise effectively across departments.Familiarity with EPOS systems is essential.
