The Atlanta Area Council, Scouting America is a premier employer located in a comfortable and professional office in the Cumberland business area at the junction of I75 and 285 near the Atlanta Braves Truist Park.The Council has an opening for a full-time Database and Campaign Specialist in our Volunteer Service Center working as a key administrative professional within the development department. The Database and Campaign Specialist is responsible for managing the donor database, processing and receipting all charitable contributions, data reporting, and processing donor acknowledgments and communications.Job Responsibilities IncludeMaintains database in Blackbaud by creating donor records, inputting, and updating data.Process all charitable gifts – pledges, invoicing, payments, and collections.Develops and maintains giving reports.Assists with researching and analyzing data and making recommendations to leadership.Update development webpages.Ensures data integrity and quality of databases maintained.Provides administrative support for fundraising events.Provides excellent customer service to all donors, staff, and volunteers.Provides backup and cross-departmental support as needed.This position requires an Associate's Degree with a concentration in Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field directly related to accounts receivable, gift processing, customer relations, or accounting, or any equivalent combination of education, experience, and training necessary knowledge and skills.Knowledge, Skills, & AbilitiesAbility to operate various word processing software, spreadsheets, and database programs.Skilled in reporting, research, and data analysis.Extremely detail-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships and demonstrate commitment to being a team player.Knowledge of accounts receivable.Communicates efficiently and effectively both verbally and in writing.Ability to carry out multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Pay: $40,000 - $50,000kSchedule (In-Person):· 8-hour shift Monday-Thursday· 5.5-hour shift FridayBenefits:In addition to offering a competitive salary, we offer benefits including major medical insurance, prescription plan, dental, vision, life insurance, long-term disability, and a 403(b)-retirement plan including a matching contribution plan from the company.
