We’re Hiring: Database Engineer – SQL, PostgreSQL & MSSQL | Lahore (On-site)Location: Lahore, Pakistan Schedule: Monday–Friday | On-site Job Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe’re looking for a skilled Database Engineer who’s passionate about SQL, database architecture, and performance optimization.You’ll be part of a dynamic tech team, working closely with developers and data professionals to design, optimize, and maintain high-performance database systems across PostgreSQL and MSSQL environments.If you love clean, efficient data workflows and enjoy solving complex data challenges — this is your next big opportunity. 🚀Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries, functions & stored procedures.Design and manage database schemas, indexes, relationships & constraints.Handle ETL processes, data migration & integration from multiple sources.Analyze and improve query performance for high efficiency.Manage large datasets, CSV/Excel imports, and ensure data accuracy.Collaborate with developers and analysts to ensure seamless data flow.Maintain detailed technical documentation and process records.Required Skills & ExperienceStrong command over SQL and database design principles.Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).Proven background in ETL development and data migration.Understanding of query optimization, indexing & constraints.Familiarity with Node.js and Prisma ORM (a strong plus).Excellent communication & documentation skills.Preferred QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.Previous experience in database engineering, data warehousing, or backend systems.Exposure to cloud-based databases or modern data pipelines is a plus.What We OfferCompetitive salary: PKR 80,000 – 150,000 (based on experience).Growth opportunities in a data-driven, innovative environment.Chance to work with modern tools & technologies.A collaborative culture that values precision, performance & innovation.Ready to apply?
