We are looking for proactive and dedicated detail-oriented Data Centre Operations Manager to oversee the daily operations of AI data centres. This role demands strong leadership, technical expertise, and operational discipline to ensure 24x7 availability, infrastructure reliability, and seamless shift coverage. Role: Data Center ManagerType: Contract Duration: 4 months (End of December)Mode: OnsiteKey Responsibilities : Operations Management Lead and manage day-to-day operations of the data centre facility. Supervise and coordinate a team of AI Tech across multiple shifts. Ensure 24x7 operational readiness through on-call support and incident management. Monitor infrastructure performance, capacity, and environmental conditions.
Maintenance Oversight Oversee preventive and corrective maintenance activities for IT and facility systems. Maintain compliance with safety, security, and operational standards. Coordinate with client team and service providers for scheduled maintenance and emergency repairs. Inventory & Asset Control Manage storeroom and inventory control for all IT and facility-related assets. Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and lifecycle management of equipment. Shift Coverage & Flexibility Serve as a backup resource for any shift, covering team member absences without limitations (e. g.
, consecutive days, weekends) Be physically available during general shifts aligned with PST, or as business demands Compliance & Documentation Maintain infrastructure documentation and support audit processes. Ensure adherence to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. Qualifications Minimum 10 to 15 years of experience in data centre operations or data centre infrastructure management. Proven ability to lead technical teams and manage cross-functional operations. Strong understanding of structured cabling, racking & stacking etc Experience with inventory systems and asset tracking tools. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills. Willingness to work flexible hours and cover additional shifts as needed.
