DataOps Engineer H/F

The role involves maintaining and developing DataOps for two key data platforms, ensuring reliability, scalability, and efficient data pipelines and product deliveries. The engineer will work with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to support data integration and lakehouse platforms by delivering trusted data products.Main MissionsBuild, operate, and optimize data pipelines and workflows across the lakehouse ecosystem.Ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of data operations in production environments.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and processes.Assist in the architecture and implementation of data platforms.Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for data operations.Develop reusable data pipeline components and tools.Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines and workflows.Implement data quality checks and validation processes.Participate in defining and implementing data governance practices.Work with data engineers to improve and optimize data systems and processes.Create and maintain documentation.Technical SkillsStrong knowledge of SQL (ideally Microsoft SQL Server).Good experience of data streaming patternsGood experience of Python and scripting languages; PySpark is a strong plus.Good experience of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms.Proven experience with CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with lakehouse architectures (Delta Lake, Iceberg, …).Understanding of Data Product concepts and modern data management practices.Ability to read and understanding Java, Camel, Talend ESB, PowershellNice to HaveExperience with MS Fabric or DatabricksExperience with observabilityKnowledge of data governance and security best practices.Familiarity with BI or analytics tools.What We OfferAn opportunity to work with modern data technologies in a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.The ability to shape and influence our DataOps practices and architecture.Education & ExperienceBachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.5+ years of experience in data engineering or data operations.Experience working in agile development methodologies within collaborative, cross-functional teams.Proven track record of delivering high-quality data solutions in fast-paced environments.Experience with data privacy and security regulations and best practices.Location: GenevaStart Date : ASAPContrat: Perm with ilem SA
