Key Responsibilities: Develop and implement logistics strategy aligned with business objectivesOptimize routing, scheduling, and transportation modes to reduce costsSet and monitor KPIs for logistics performanceSupervise dispatches, GRV processes, gate passes, and import shipmentsManage fleet operations including GPS tracking, maintenance, permits, and expensesEnsure compliance with safety protocols and regulatory requirementsCoordinate with internal departments (warehouse, HR, sales, etc. )Lead team performance, training, and monthly meetings with drivers/helpersAddress delivery issues, customer complaints, and operational disruptionsPrepare and submit detailed reports (e. g. , vehicle fines, mileage, dispatch, re-delivery, temperature, accidents, etc.
)Monitor staff attendance, uniforms, PPE, and holiday duty coveragePropose fleet expansion plans with cost justificationQualifications: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Business Administration10+ years of experience in logistics/supply chain, preferably FMCGStrong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skillsProven ability to manage large teams and complex logistics networks
