About The RoleA position has arisen for an Investment Analyst (Equities) to join the Investment Team within Private Clients. In the role, the successful candidate will: Updating and maintaining all marketing documentation for the direct equity offering. Developing extensive knowledge of the companies in our global equity universe, by monitoring market developments, analysing data and interpreting market trends.
Analysing and formulating investment ideas for inclusion in the direct equity offering. Communicating portfolio updates, relevant news, information and investment views with Portfolio managers and directly with clients. Managing Portfolio Manager/Client queries in a timely manner. Participating with the Investment Team to formulate investment views for the Private Client Department. About YouWe are looking for somebody who has the following background and skills: A team player with the ability to use own initiative. A passion for investing. A positive attitude, flexible outlook and a high level of initiative and enthusiasm. A strong commitment to personal development.
Degree or Masters level in business related discipline. 1-3 years post graduate experience in Stockbroking, Investment Management or Accountancy. Excellent analytical and quantitative skills. Demonstrable interest and understanding of investments and financial markets. Strong communication and presentation skills; verbal and written. High level of accuracy with strong attention to detail. Excellent information technology capability, including a high level of competence in Microsoft Office products (particularly Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint). Willing to complete the QFA and CFA examinations. An ability to prioritise own workload.
