We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Area Resort Manager to oversee the daily operations of two premier resorts, ensuring operational excellence, guest satisfaction, and financial success.
This is a high-impact leadership role, requiring a luxury hospitality professional with experience in complex resort environments and high-end service standards. Position SummaryThe Area Resort Manager will be based at one of the properties and will provide strategic and operational leadership for both properties. Reporting directly to the SVP & General Manager, this role is responsible for ensuring seamless operations, financial optimization, and elevated guest experiences across both resorts. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in multi-property resort management, a deep understanding of luxury hospitality standards, and exceptional leadership skills to inspire and drive operational success.
Key ResponsibilitiesOperational Leadership & Property OversightOversee the daily operations of both resorts, ensuring excellence in service and efficiency. Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction, operational performance, and financial success. Ensure both properties meet and exceed luxury hospitality expectations through exceptional service execution and brand consistency. Maintain high service standards and quality control measures across all guest touchpoints. Guest Experience & Brand StandardsUphold the highest levels of guest experience, ensuring high-level service across both properties. Monitor and improve key guest satisfaction metrics, including GSS, online reviews, and brand audits. Implement innovative service strategies to elevate the overall guest journey.
Address guest feedback and oversee service recovery initiatives to enhance retention and brand loyalty. Financial & Business PerformanceCollaborate with the Finance and Revenue teams to optimize ADR, RevPAR, TRevPAR, and GOP, and NOI performance. Support budgeting, cost control, and profitability strategies across both resorts. Oversee and manage P&L statements, ensuring both properties achieve financial targets. Identify opportunities for revenue growth and cost efficiencies while maintaining service excellence. Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop department heads and operational teams across both resorts. Foster a high-performance, guest-centric culture focused on team collaboration and accountability.
Ensure that all departments have strong leadership, adequate resources, and proper training to meet and exceed luxury hospitality standards. Promote talent development and succession planning to build a pipeline of future hospitality leaders. Strategic Collaboration & Business OptimizationWork closely with the SVP & GM to align operations with the company’s long-term strategic vision. Develop cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to ensure alignment of business objectives. Engage in industry networking, partnerships, and vendor relationships to maintain the resorts’ competitive edge. Implement operational innovations to streamline efficiency, improve sustainability, and enhance the overall resort experience.
Qualifications & ExperienceBachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field required; MBA or advanced leadership certifications preferred. 10+ years of resort management experience, with at least 3+ years overseeing multiple properties. Luxury hospitality background is required, with a preference for experience in top-tier luxury brands. Strong knowledge of resort operations, financial management, and guest experience enhancement. Experience leading large-scale teams in complex, high-volume resort settings. Proven ability to analyze financial data, optimize operations, and drive revenue growth. Strong leadership and emotional intelligence, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams. Spanish proficiency is preferred but not required.
