Role description We are looking for a Data Center Hardware Manager who will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the IT infrastructure of the company’s data center.
This leadership role involves overseeing a team responsible for managing high-performance technologies such as advanced GPU cloud clusters. The manager will ensure hardware functionality, troubleshoot technical issues, and maintain continuous operation of mission-critical systems. The role requires on-site presence at the colocation facility in Mäntsälä, Finland. Responsibilities: Lead and manage the IT support team to meet infrastructure KPIs and drive project planning. Coordinate effectively with both internal teams and external vendors to resolve technical and operational issues. Develop and maintain documentation for hardware configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting. Oversee daily IT operations to ensure system stability and reliability.
Supervise installation, upgrades, and decommissioning of hardware aligned with operational needs. Handle asset management processes and Return Merchandise Authorizations (RMAs). Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience in team leadership and hands-on server hardware troubleshooting. In-depth understanding of data center operations, server architecture, and networking equipment. Proven experience in IT project planning and execution. Familiarity with ITIL methodology and technical support service workflows (ITSM). Working knowledge of Linux and command-line utilities. Practical expertise in handling server hardware, network switches, and fiber optic systems. Advanced skills in Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and data visualization.
Strong sense of accountability and goal-oriented work ethic. Preferred Qualifications: ITIL and/or PMI certifications. Valid Category B driver’s license.
