The Role:As Deal Desk Manager, you will be an integral part of our Customer and Supplier Contracting Processes with the goal to drive efficiencies in contracting as well as consistency of governance across all Customer and Supplier contracts globally. This role reports initially to Group Legal (GRC) but operates with a level of independence and responsibility.This role is a great opportunity for someone with Finance, management, commercial or Legal experience who is keen to move into a commercial contract management role within a global organization. The ideal candidate will be an excellent collaborator and a self-starter.Your Responsibilities:Provide Global Governance to Customer and Supplier Contracting Processes starting from Contract Request to Contract Archiving. This includes but is not limited to:- Ensuring sufficient review and approvals of pending contracts (including financials) per current Company policies.- Ensuring actions agreed on Pricing approval are allocated to responsible parties internally and reported as required.- Ensuring signed contracts are properly stored in the Contract Repository.- Monitoring contract milestones.- Reporting and answering ad hoc queries.Drive internal communications around new Contracts and associated responsibilities.Working with Sales and Procurement teams to reduce the time taken from Contract Request to Contract Signature to drive value within the Group.Work with Finance, Legal, Sales and Procurement teams and others to streamline Contracting processes whilst maintaining appropriate levels of governance and controls.Advise Acrelec on contract risk exposure including Delivery work at risk prior to contract signature.Build positive relationships between different parties involved in Contracting processes (Sales, Procurement, Finance, Legal, Operations).Skills and Experience:Prior experience of Customer and Supplier contracting processes and close liaison with Sales, Procurement, Legal and Finance colleagues.Strong background in Management, Finance or Legal.Experience interacting with Senior Executives.Effective oral and written communication skills, and excellent interpersonal skills. Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to set priorities, handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines. Ability to work across time zones.Ability to mediate difficult conversations between respective stakeholders to keep progressing against a common objective.
