Job Description

Job PurposeEffectively implement and oversee a portfolio of syndicated loan transactions in strict accordance with legalagreements and regulatory requirements. Utilize available systems, adhere to internal processes, and coordinateloan activities among various transaction parties.Job ResponsibilitiesCoordinate syndicated loan transactions, serving as a liaison between borrowers and financial institutions.Manage communication with syndicate members, ensuring a clear understanding of terms and conditions.Monitor loan portfolios, assess risks, and provide timely reports to stakeholders.Take action and monitor deal activities in compliance with legal agreements and regulatory requirements, utilizingsystems like Loan IQ and Debt Domain.Provide advice to key stakeholders on legal agreements, regulatory requirements, policies, and processes toeffectively manage risk.Propose practical solutions for deal implementation and ongoing management to mitigate risk and enhance theclient experience.Build effective relationships with stakeholders, delivering high-quality input, proactive issue resolution, and opencommunication.Maintain accurate and reliable data on all transactions for timely and accurate management information.Stay informed about market trends and regulatory changes affecting syndicated lending.Essential Qualifications - NQF LevelAdvanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees Preferred QualificationAdvanced degree in finance or related field and/or a professional certification in syndicated lending.Minimum Experience LevelA minimum of 3-5 years of experience in syndicated lending or a related financial role.Technical / Professional KnowledgeBusiness Acumen Regulatory knowledge Governance, Risk and Controls General Communication Skills Presentation Skills Business writing skills Relevant tax and legal knowledge Accounting skills Banking knowledge Banking procedures Credit risk knowledge Behavioural CompetenciesDecision Making Coaching Continuous Improvement Managing Work Building Partnerships Quality Orientation Innovation Technology Savvy Please contact the Nedbank Recruiting Team at +27 860 555 566
