We proudly offer 30 masters, bachelor’s, and diploma programs across our 4 colleges: College of Media and Public Relations, College of Medical and Health Sciences, College of Business, College of Engineering and Computing with the support of the General Education Department.Job Summary:As the Dean of the College of Media and Public Relations, the role provides strategic academic and administrative leadership to advance the College’s mission in education, research, and community engagement. Reporting to the Vice President of Academic Affairs, the Dean is responsible for ensuring academic excellence, accreditation compliance, and continuous improvement across all programs. Key responsibilities include overseeing academic operations, curriculum development, faculty recruitment, and professional development while fostering a collaborative and innovative academic environment. The Dean leads initiatives in local and international accreditation, quality assurance, and institutional ranking, ensuring that programs meet national and international standards.The position also focuses on enhancing student success through evidence-based strategies, research development, and partnerships with industry, government, and community organizations. The Dean promotes a strong culture of scholarship and creativity, encouraging faculty research, publication, and participation in global academic networks.With a commitment to transparency, ethical leadership, and inclusive excellence, the Dean plays a pivotal role in shaping the College’s strategic vision, optimizing faculty performance, and ensuring that teaching, research, and community service are aligned with the University’s goals.Qualifications:PhD from a university recognized by the UAE Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (Full Professor rank preferred)Minimum of 10 years of academic leadership and 8 years of teaching experience in higher education (preferably with experience in the UAE)A record of internationally recognized and peer-reviewed publications (Scopus or Arcif)Proven expertise in accreditation, academic quality, research leadership, and student success strategiesFluency in spoken and written Arabic and EnglishHow to apply: Applications must include:A cover letter describing qualifications and interest in the position.An updated CV, including the names and contact information of at least five professional references.Copies of degrees along with transcripts (official certified transcripts will be requested if an offer of employment is made).Important: Non-Arabic language speakers need not apply as the language of instruction in the College of Media and Public Relations is Arabic.
