The university features a green campus with state-of-the-art infrastructure and top-class faculty, catering to both national and international students.Role DescriptionThe Dean, School of Management, serves as the academic and administrative head of the School, responsible for strategic leadership, academic excellence, faculty development, research advancement, and student engagement. The role involves aligning the School’s operations with the University’s mission, vision, and quality benchmarks while fostering innovation, industry collaboration, and global exposure.Key Responsibilities1. Academic LeadershipProvide strategic direction for curriculum design, academic planning, and program development.Ensure compliance with UGC and AICTE norms and maintain academic quality standards.Promote interdisciplinary and experiential learning approaches.2. Faculty ManagementLead recruitment, mentoring, and professional development of faculty members.Facilitate performance appraisals and promote research and publications among faculty.Encourage continuous learning and academic integrity within the School.3. Research and InnovationFoster a strong research culture and encourage funded projects, consultancy, and publications.Build research collaborations with national and international institutions.Promote industry-driven research and innovation initiatives.4. Industry and Institutional CollaborationStrengthen ties with industry partners for internships, placements, and joint programs.Develop executive education, management development programs (MDPs), and certification courses.Represent the School in academic and corporate forums to enhance visibility and reputation.5. Student Development and SupportOversee student academic performance, discipline, and welfare initiatives.Encourage entrepreneurship, leadership, and skill-building activities.Support career guidance and placement efforts.6. Administrative ResponsibilitiesPrepare annual budgets, academic calendars, and strategic plans for the School.Oversee examinations, accreditation, and audit-related processes.Ensure effective communication and coordination with University administration.Qualification and Experience:Essential: Ph.D. in Management or a related discipline.Experience: Minimum of 15 years in teaching/research in a university or recognized institution, including at least 5 years in academic administrative roles such as Professor, Head, or Associate Dean.Desirable: Proven record of research, publications in reputed journals, and leadership in academic or professional associations.Key Competencies:Strategic leadership and academic vision.Strong industry linkages and networking ability.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Sound understanding of higher education regulations and accreditation processes.Commitment to ethics, innovation, and continuous improvement.
