We are looking for a Debt Collection Analyst in Almaty office!Location: Almaty, KazakhstanProject: SpainYour daily tasks will be:Prepare daily, weekly, monthly, annual, and other periodic reports, as well as ad hoc reports upon requestPerform ad hoc reporting and provide analytical support as neededDevelop analyses and presentations for senior managementAnalyze current business performance and provide recommendations for improvementDeliver accurate reporting and performance analysis against historical data and budget to support decision-makingSupport DC management, legal, and financial management mattersAssist in the development and implementation of various projects within the collections areaPropose necessary actions to improve the company’s financial and other key performance indicatorsDevelop and monitor collection KPIs (e.g., Recovery Rate, PTP, Kept PTP, Gross Efficiency, etc.)What we expect from you: Education:Economics and Mathematics (Economic theory, applied mathematics, finance, and mathematical statistics)Social Sciences (Sociology, political science, and marketing)Computer Science (Data analysis, databases, programming, and information technology)Experience working in:Financial services, lending businesses, banks, cryptocurrencies, creditsE-commerce, marketingConsulting (BIG3, BIG4)Required technical skills:SQL: Proficient in any dialect (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MS SQL). Experienced with CTEs, window functions, complex queries, and stored proceduresMathematical Statistics: Knowledge of various distributions, correlation analysis, regression models, and hypothesis testingExcel (Advanced Level): Skilled in data sorting, filtering, pivot tables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF/SUMIFS, and chart creationBI Tools: Power BI preferred, but experience with other tools such as Tableau, Grafana, Looker, QlikView, or Apache Superset is also acceptableA/B Testing: Understanding of split testing principles, test planning, and loggingBeneficial technical abilities:Python: Data analysis using libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, SciPy, Statsmodels, Seaborn, Matplotlib, etc.ETL Processes: Experience with tools like Airflow, Pentaho, and othersIT Understanding: Knowledge of client-server architecture, APIs, back-end and front-end concepts, parsing, algorithms, and data structuresProject Management: Familiar with Agile methodologies (e.g., sprints), as well as WaterfallProject Management Tools: Experience with Jira, Asana, ActiveCollab, ClickUp, Notion, etc.Other skills:Languages: Fluent English required; Spanish is desirableAnalytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
