Are you an experienced Deckhand with a passion for the ocean and a meticulous eye for detail? A private owner based in Paradise Point is seeking a dedicated full-time Deckhand to maintain and operate a stunning fleet of luxury vessels.This is not your average Deckhand role — you’ll be working with a diverse range of high-end vessels including:A 100-foot Horizon superyacht and Zodiac tenderA 70-foot Sunreef sailing catamaran and Smuggler tenderA 50-foot racing catamaranA 29-foot Mako centre consoleThree jet skis and associated marine equipmentThis role includes time at sea, with opportunities for extended travel both within Australia and internationally.Your Key Responsibilities Will IncludeDeckhand duties across all vessels, predominantly sailing Performing thorough exterior washdowns across all vesselsWaxing exterior surfaces and polishing stainless-steel fittingsCleaning, treating, and maintaining teak decking surfacesWashing, polishing, and maintaining all external glass Conducting regular engine room cleaning Flushing outboard motors and ensuring proper care of jet skis and tendersMaintaining and troubleshooting auxiliary systems including: Water purification units, Air conditioning, Satellite navigation, Generators and other electrical/mechanical systemsKeeping detailed maintenance logs and scheduling required services or tradesCoordinating and oversight of external trades for specialised repairs and servicingEnsuring vessels are safe, operational and always ready for useAssisting with vessel refits and yard maintenance workThis role requires a high level of care, precision, and accountability to ensure all vessels always remain in immaculate condition.What We’re Looking ForA self-motivated individual who takes pride in their workStrong attention to detail and a proactive mindsetProblem-solving skills and the ability to work independentlyPrevious detailing experience (preferred but not essential)A valid Boat Licence (desirable) and Australian Driver’s Licence Experience on or around yachts, with a genuine love for the oceanWhat You’ll Get In ReturnA permanent full-time role (40 hrs per week) with a generous remuneration packageA professional and friendly working environmentThe chance to work on a variety of impressive vesselsUnique sailing and boating experiences, both locally and abroadReady to set sail on your next adventure?If you’re passionate about yachts and want to take your marine career to the next level, we’d love to hear from you!
