We’re looking for a Quality Manager to join our team and support an exciting offshore converter station project in the Baltic Sea. The role is approximately 60% remote, 40% on site at the client’s office in Germany, with around 10% travel to manufacturing facilities in Europe and Asia. The RoleAs Quality Manager, you will lead and coordinate all quality-related activities supporting the construction of an offshore converter station during design, fabrication and commissioning phases.
Your responsibilities include:
Advising the project management team on quality assurance matters and implementing client's QA requirementsDeveloping and maintaining quality processes in line with project and client's standardsReviewing and approving Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) from contractorsOverseeing audits, inspections, and QMS implementation across contractors and subcontractorsMonitoring KPIs and managing the NCR process, including documentation and follow-upProviding support on coatings (FROSIO certification is a plus) and ensuring continuous improvement through structured reporting and analysisYour ProfileDegree in engineering or equivalent5 years of work experience in the quality area of large construction projects, offshore business is preferredFamiliarity with risk-based quality managementExperience in welding and/or protective coatings (e.
g. IWE, NACE, FROSIO) is a plusKnowledge of relevant regulations and standards (e. g. BSH, DNV, HSE, industry best practices)NDT education is a plusFluent in English (spoken and written); German is a bonus
