DeepIntent. com or find us on LinkedIn. What You’ll Do: DeepIntent seeks an experienced Data Infrastructure Engineer to join our European Data Infrastructure team. As a Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, building, and maintaining the foundational infrastructure supporting our data ecosystem.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient data storage, processing, and accessibility, enabling seamless data-driven decision-making across the organizationDesign, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructure solutions to support the storage, processing, and analysis of large volumes of dataEvaluate and select appropriate technologies and tools to optimize data infrastructure performance, reliability, security, and cost-effectivenessImplement backup and disaster recovery procedures to safeguard critical data assets and ensure business continuity.

Continuously optimize data pipelines for efficiency, scalability, and reliability, identifying and resolving performance bottlenecks and operational issuesEstablish and promote best practices, standards, and guidelines for data infrastructure design, implementation, and maintenanceStay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and enhancements to the existing infrastructureManage individual project priorities, deadlines, and deliverables on timeWho You Are:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experienceProven experience as a Data Infrastructure Engineer, with a minimum of 3 years working in a production environmentProficiency with the architecture, deployment, performance tuning, and troubleshooting of open-source data technologies, especially Apache Spark, Apache Hadoop, and related software in large-scale production environmentsProficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Scala, with experience in scripting and automation (Apache Airflow). Hands-on experience managing large numbers of diverse systems with configuration management or software delivery platforms (such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, etc.

)Experience with data center and cloud platforms (e. g.

AWS, GCP, Azure)Experience with workflow orchestration tools such as Apache AirflowGood understanding of DevOps practices and experience with containerization technologies such as Docker for packaging and Kubernetes for orchestrationExperience with security-related infrastructure including MIT Kerberos, OpenSSL, and certificate managementUnderstanding of the Linux Operating System, standard networking protocols, and componentsExperience with deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacksStrong sense of ownership and integrity demonstrated through clear communication and collaborationAn enthusiastic learner who has a thirst for keeping up with new and various technologiesMust be open to hybrid work modelWe believe great work starts with great support.
