Defence Architect - Melbourne

As an Architect on high-security and Defence projects, you’ll work in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment, contributing to projects that require careful planning, technical rigour, and strict security compliance.In This Role, You WillLead design development, documentation, and coordination on defence and high-security projects.Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams, including engineers, digital design specialists, and project managers, to deliver technically complex outcomes.Ensure compliance with Defence and security protocols, including secure handling of sensitive information.Contribute to project planning, client liaison, and design presentations while maintaining a high standard of technical quality.Support mentoring of junior staff and foster a collaborative, knowledge-sharing culture.About you:Experienced architect with a strong portfolio in defence, government, or other high-security projects.Skilled in Revit, and documentation workflows, with a solid understanding of BIM coordination processes.Knowledge of security requirements for sensitive projects, with experience managing confidential information.Strong communication, organisational, and collaborative skills.Australian citizenship is essential to obtain the necessary Defence security clearance.Why join this practice:You’ll become part of a nationally respected studio that values creativity, technical excellence, and collaboration.
