You will effectively negotiate with suppliers, conduct industry research, and manage key supplier relationships to achieve cost reduction goals:Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement strategies to ensure excellence in project delivery and client satisfactionLead and mentor a team of project managers to drive high performance and continuous improvementCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for innovation and process optimizationDrive a culture of excellence and continuous learning within the organizationStay updated on industry trends and best practices to drive innovation and excellenceNetwork with 3PL, transportation companies, freight forwarders and custom brokersLead cross-functional teams to develop and implement supply chain strategiesDrive continuous improvement in supply chain processes and cost reduction initiativesEstablish and maintain strong relationships with 3PL, transportation companies, freight forwarders and custom brokers to ensure best value dealsManage supplier quality programs and capabilities to meet performance goalsDelegate responsibilities effectively and hold team members accountable for deliverablesConduct research on transportation methods, rates, and routesRequired QualificationsWhat we are looking forMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in logistics operation and project management or related fieldUniversity/Bachelors Degree or Equivalent in a relevant field. MBA/DBA is a plusProven track record of delivering excellence in project management and client satisfactionStrong leadership and team management skillsDesired QualificationsAbility to think creatively and drive innovation in project deliveryStrong analytical skills.
