About The RoleWe’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented People Services Advisor to join our People team in Dubai. This role is essential in providing efficient and effective first-line HR support and administrative services to all employees and Managers across Dubai, Doha & Kuwait City. The People Services Advisor will be a key point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a seamless employee experience and maintaining accurate HR records in compliance with UAE Labour Law and company policies.
This role offers a hybrid work arrangement, requiring you to be in the office at least 3 days per week and giving you the flexibility to work remotely for the remaining 2 days. What You'll Be DoingAct as first line support enquiries, escalating complex issues to the appropriate HR specialist or HR Manager where requiredOwn ticket escalation process on our case management platform - monitor incoming cases, assess urgency, direct them to the correct team, and follow through until resolutionExecute full cycle end-to-end HR administration processes including, but not limited: Onboarding:
Preparation of employment contracts, new hire documentation, visa and immigration support, medical insurance registration and new joiner orientation. Offboarding: Processing resignation/termination paperwork & conducting exit administrationEmployee Lifecycle: Processing changes to employee data (e. g. , job changes, promotions, transfers, salary adjustments)Support with payroll preparation ensuring records are accurate and processed in a timely mannerMaintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in the HR Information System (Workday), ensuring data integrity and confidentialityPrepare HR-related letters, certificates, and other documents as required (e. g.
, salary certificates, no objection certificates)Ensure all HR administrative activities are conducted in full compliance with UAE Labour Law, company policies, and GDPR principlesAssist in maintaining up-to-date knowledge of changes in local labour legislation and communicate impacts to the wider People teamIdentify opportunities to streamline HR administrative processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the People Services functionSupport the development and documentation of HR processes & proceduresCollaborate with Government Relations services for Deliveroo with activities encompassing but not limited to new employee visa initiation, visa renewals, OHC medicals, Mandatory unemployment Insurance, Golden Visa - NSID, Employee access cards, and any other queries upon requestAdminister ad-hoc tasks such as NOCs, letters, certificates, verification requestsManage/coordinate employee recognition program - Roo Awards and Learning initiatives - Lunch and LearnStay current with changes and emerging trends in UAE Labor Law to ensure ongoing complianceCollaborate with team members to identify process inefficiencies and proactively recommend improvementsAny other tasks as directed by Line ManagerRequirementsProven experience in a similar role preferably within the UAEStrong understanding of standard HR administration processes & best practicesExperience using Workday desirableKnowledge of UAE Labor Law under MOHREExcellent organisational skills with a strong ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and document preparation. Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) in English.
