The RoleThe Delivery Assurance Competency Centre Manager is responsible for building and maturing Zenitech’s Project and Product Management capability across the organisation – ensuring consistent, high-quality delivery, strong governance, and professional growth of all delivery professionals.The role serves as a functional and people leader for the Project Management, Programme Management, Business Analysis, and Product Ownership communities, aligning practices, standards, and development paths to client expectations and company strategy.The Delivery Assurance Competency Centre Manager directly supports the Chief Delivery Officer in driving Delivery Excellence across Zenitech projects, and ensures that the PM community operates as a high-performing network – equipped to act as project administrators, coordinators, scrum masters, full-scope project managers, or programme managers, depending on client needs.What you will doDelivery Assurance & GovernanceDefine, implement, and maintain project management and delivery frameworks that ensure quality, predictability, and alignment with Zenitech’s Delivery model.Oversee adherence to delivery governance standards across all projects (planning, risk management, scope control, reporting, stakeholder management).Support project reviews, audits, and health checks – identify risks, delivery gaps, and corrective actions.Partner with CDO and Operational Excellence to ensure delivery quality metrics and KPIs are consistent, measurable, and transparent.Collaborate with Competency Centre Managers and Customer Success to ensure client satisfaction, contract compliance, and delivery efficiency.Capability Building & Community LeadershipEstablish and grow a PM / PgM / BA / PO Community of Practice to share knowledge, tools, and frameworks.Define and implement career paths, competency frameworks, and development programmes for delivery roles supporting Zenitech strategy.Coach and mentor senior PMs to take leadership of complex engagements, and enable PMs to scale into end-to-end delivery ownership.Oversee onboarding, performance evaluation, and talent rotation across delivery teams to maintain a balance between client demand and individual growth.Promote cross-regional collaboration and continuous learning across delivery functions.Talent & Line ManagementServe as line manager for all professionals in the PM / PgM / BA / PO streams.Conduct regular 1:1s, appraisals, and career discussions; define development goals and training plans.Identify and address performance or skill gaps; create formal improvement and growth plans where needed.Partner with People Partners, and L&D to ensure consistent performance management and talent engagement.Drive high morale, retention, and motivation within the PM community through recognition, mentorship, and inclusion.Strategic Alignment & CollaborationSupport the CDO in implementing the Delivery Excellence Roadmap – including harmonisation of delivery tools, reporting, and operational maturity.Contribute to the development of PM standards aligned with ISO, Agile, and hybrid delivery models.Collaborate closely with the Commercial and Technology Office to ensure project scoping, estimations, and delivery commitments are realistic and achievable.Act as an escalation point for project management challenges and client escalations related to delivery governance or capability.Continuous Improvement & InnovationIdentify and drive initiatives that improve project performance, governance, and profitability.Introduce and maintain best practices for project health tracking, retrospectives, and lessons learned.Encourage experimentation and innovation within delivery processes while maintaining client trust and predictability.Key OutputsConsistent, high-quality delivery across all client projects.A strong and engaged PM community with clearly defined roles, skills, and growth paths.Improved project governance, risk control, and client satisfaction.Alignment of delivery frameworks with Zenitech’s strategic goals and quality objectives.Requirements8+ years in Project or Programme Management, including leadership of large, complex or multi-team engagements.Proven experience managing delivery teams across Agile, Hybrid, and Fixed Price models.Demonstrated success in coaching or line-managing senior PMs or cross-functional delivery teams.Deep understanding of project governance, financial control, and risk management.Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.Strong business orientation and ability to balance delivery excellence with commercial outcomes.Experience in building or leading communities of practice or competency frameworks.
