Key Responsibilities:Strategic Leadership:Define IT delivery strategy aligned with the bank’s business objectives.Collaborate with internal stakeholders (CIO, business units, compliance) to ensure smooth execution of technology programs.Project Oversight:Manage a portfolio of complex projects (digital transformation, open banking, regulatory compliance such as Basel III or GDPR).Monitor performance indicators, identify risks, and implement mitigation plans.Team Management:Lead cross-functional teams including project managers, architects, developers, and business analysts.Foster a culture of performance, continuous improvement, and customer service.Communication and Coordination:Act as the main point of contact for business units and international entities.Provide clear reporting on program progress, risks, and deliverables.Process and Quality:Ensure the adoption of best delivery practices (Agile/Scrum, ITIL, DevOps) tailored to the banking environment.Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements.Budgeting and Planning:Manage IT project budgets and optimize the use of internal and external resources.Assess future capacity needs (scalability, technological innovation).Vendor and Partner Management:Oversee contracts with IT vendors and core banking software providers (e.g., Temenos, Finastra).Ensure adherence to SLAs and the quality of delivered services.Requirements:Education:University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Management.An MBA or certification in project management (PMP, Prince2, SAFe) is a plus.Experience:At least 15 years of experience in IT project or program management, with a minimum of 5 to 10 years in the banking sector.Proven track record in regulated environments and digital transformation.Technical and Business Skills:Strong knowledge of banking systems (core banking, payments, risk, compliance).Proficiency in Agile, DevOps, and ITIL methodologies.Strong understanding of cybersecurity DORA, and data protection requirements (GDPR, ISO 27001).Languages:Full professional fluency in Dutch(spoken and written).Fluent in English (international work environment).Key Competencies:Strategic vision and executionLeadership and change managementResults-oriented mindsetAnalytical thinking and problem-solvingEffective communication in multicultural environmentsAbility to work cross-functionally with global teams and multi-cultural environments especially Indian set ups is a mustWhy Join Us?• Opportunity to lead high-impact transformation programs for leading institutions.• Be part of a global technology powerhouse with cutting-edge delivery methodologies.• Engage with cross-functional leadership teams and drive innovation in financial IT services.• Competitive compensation and career progression in a dynamic, global environment
