Resource Recovery Services Director (Operations Director)

Delta Diablo is looking for an exceptionally talented and motivated Resource Recovery Services Director (Operations Director) who will utilize excellent critical thinking skills, judgment, initiative, and situational, risk-based decision-making abilities based on relevant work experience to effectively lead and manage a broad range of operations, maintenance, laboratory, and safety responsibilities and initiatives.

This position requires a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in civil, chemical, environmental, or mechanical engineering, chemistry, biology, or a related field from an accredited college or university. A master’s degree in these areas or business/public administration is desirable. Requires ten years of progressively more responsible experience in facility operations, maintenance, and/or engineering, including five years of supervisory experience (at a public agency is desirable) or three years of management experience.
