For more information, click here.Role Reports ToSenior Manager - Plan RetailLocation:Asia Pacific, Japan, Tokyo-To, ChiyodaWork Location:HybridWhat You Will DoThe Demand Planning Manager is responsible for providing leadership on demand and supply planning processes, developing solutions to complex problems, and building effective relationships with key suppliers and internal/external client groups:Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and implement demand planning strategies to optimize inventory levels and meet customer demandsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to forecast demand and identify potential risks and opportunitiesAnalyze historical data and market trends to make informed decisions on inventory managementLead and mentor a team of demand planners to ensure accuracy and efficiency in forecastingDrive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance forecasting accuracy and efficiencyLead the development and execution of demand and supply planning strategies to ensure cost-effective stock availabilityImplement and maintain planning processes and systems in compliance with corporate policiesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems and drive solutionsFoster strong relationships with key suppliers and internal/external client groupsFacilitate communication on business implications of planning decisionsCoordinate timely forecasting communications and align goals across departmentsProvide strategic leadership to improve process efficiencies and enhance customer service levelsRequired QualificationsWhat we are looking forMinimum 5 years of experience in demand planning or related fieldStrong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex business dataProven track record of successfully implementing demand planning strategies and improving forecasting accuracyExperience working in a matrix environmentNative level of Japanese and fluency in EnglishDesired QualificationsPeople management experience is preferred, but not requiredProven track record of successfully managing multiple projects/initiativesProficiency in syndicated data analysisEffective conflict management and negotiation skillsExcellent communication and leadership skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and lead a team of demand plannersExcellent interpersonal skills with ability to build strong relationshipsAdvanced computer skills, including MS Office Suite, sales database, and web applicationsKenvue is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
