Key ResponsibilitiesContent Creation & Editing Create compelling short-form videos for social media platforms including Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, Facebook, and Twitter Edit raw footage into engaging political content with strong narratives and messagingProduce meme videos, political satire, and viral content that resonates with target audiencesDesign and create custom thumbnails for all video contentContribute to raw footage editing projects when requiredTechnical SkillsProficient use of at least one of the following mobile editing applications:

Premiere Pro, CapCut, InShot, IG Edits, Splice, or VN Optimize content for different social media platforms with appropriate aspect ratios and formatsAdd motion graphics, subtitles, transitions, and sound effects to enhance viewer engagementEnsure quick turnaround times while maintaining high quality standardsCreative & Strategic Demonstrate strong "meme sense" and understanding of current internet culture and viral trendsStay updated with political developments and social media trends to create timely, relevant contentCollaborate with content strategists and social media managers to align with campaign objectivesMaintain brand consistency across all video content and ensure messaging aligns with political narrativesRequired QualificationsExperience & Skills Minimum 1-2 years of experience in video editing, preferably with political or social media contentDemonstrated understanding of current meme culture and viral content trendsExperience with short-form content creation for platforms like Instagram, TikTok, YouTube ShortsStrong sense of timing, storytelling, and visual compositionExcellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyPreferred QualificationsExperience working with political campaigns, consulting firms, or news organisationsKnowledge of Indian politics and current affairsBasic understanding of graphic design principlesExperience with live event coverage and real-time content creationMultilingual capabilities for regional content creationKey Competencies Creative Thinking:
