For the right person, there will be scope for professional growth and increased responsibility over time.About The RoleAs a dental assistant and receptionist, you will be an integral part of our team, ensuring a smooth and efficient patient experience. This role is ideal for someone who is reliable, flexible, and eager to be part of a caring and professional environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide chairside assistance to clinicians, ensuring high clinical standards and patient comfort;Oversee sterilisation and infection control procedures in line with ADA and WHS standards;Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and clinical equipment;Support front-desk operations including patient bookings, recalls, payments, and health fund claims;Welcome and engage patients with warmth and professionalism; andContribute to the refinement of clinical processes and quality improvements.What We Are Looking ForMinimum 2-3 years’ experience as a dental assistant, with sound infection control knowledge (certification highly regarded);Strong clinical capability, reliability, and attention to detail;We are looking for candidates who are not only experienced but also interested in developing leadership skills and contributing to the centre’s clinical and operational excellence.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;A proactive, positive attitude with a focus on teamwork and patient care.Flexibility to assist both chairside and in reception as needed;Experience with OASIS and Examine Pro software is desirable but not essential; andAn interest in developing skills and contributing to the centre’s clinical and operational excellence.What We OfferA welcoming and supportive team within a respected not-for-profit health organisation;Ongoing professional development and training opportunities;Competitive hourly rate based on experience; andA modern, well-equipped practice in a convenient central location.How do I apply?If you’re passionate about dentistry open to potential additional shifts, we’d love to hear from you!
