Mō te tūranga | About the roleTe Papa Atawhai - DOC is on the hunt for a skilled and detail-driven Asset Data and Reporting Analyst to support our nationwide team with accurate, consistent, and insightful asset management data and reporting across our asset portfolios. This role is all about bringing clarity and insight to our asset management practices. You'll be central in shaping how we collect, interpret, and report on data – helping DOC make informed, impactful decisions. The position will:
Deliver high-quality asset reporting and analysis that drives strategic decision-makingDefine business process data standards, reporting requirements, and system specificationsMonitor and improve data quality and consistency across the departmentCollaborate with asset managers and planners to enhance DOC's asset management capabilityHelp refine and develop new processes to optimise data flow and reporting accuracyNgā pūkenga me ngā wheako | Skills and experienceWe're looking for someone who's not only a data expert but also a strong communicator and collaborator. Demonstrable experience with Data Analytics, in a context that connects data to real-world processes and assetsAwareness of data modelling concepts and their relevance to analytical reportingStrong attention to detail and analytical thinking, particularly quantitative analysisProficiency in data warehousing and reporting tools (e. g. SAP S/4HANA, SAP Business Warehouse (BW4), SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), Microsoft Excel and plug-ins).
