We are looking for exceptionally talented Organisational Performance Consultants, Strategy Consultants or those who have a track record of delivering solutions to complex strategic problems, who are inspired by our mission to deliver public impact. You will work with a high-performing team to deliver management consultancy projects for Australian Public Service clients. As a Manager, you will:
Work closely with partners and clients to drive and deliver end-to-end high quality strategic consulting projects that meet client needs, aligned to AGCâs strategic policy and organisational transformation service linesManage client relationships and skilfully engage with key stakeholders to influence outcomesProvide thought leadership across AGC to refine and expand AGCâs service offer, while lending your expertise to other project teams and proposing innovative ideas and solutions to drive AGC forwardApply strong critical and strategic thinking and an entrepreneurial mind-setApply structured problem-solving techniques to policy and organisational challenges, facilitate workshops and interviews, analyse data and deliver meaningful resultsManage and mentor AGC staff in a positive and uplifting manner, contributing to AGCâs culture and capability.

EligibilityUnder section 22(8) of the Public Service Act 1999, employees must be Australian citizens to be employed in the APS unless the Agency Head has agreed otherwise, in writing. At PM&C to be eligible for this position you should be an Australian Citizen at the closing date of application, unless exceptional circumstances apply.
The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance, or hold a current security clearance of an appropriate level. The successful candidate will be assessed through our pre-employment screening checks, such as an Australian Criminal History Check, and will normally be subject to a six-month probation period if new to the APS or has not yet completed their probation period elsewhere in the APS.
