About the Role | Mō te TūrangaThe Data and Insights Manager, is a critical role, tasked with providing timely, high quality, accurate and actionable data and insights on a regular basis.
The role will ensure the Delivery Unit has (across all its products and advice) high-quality data analysis, visualisation, and insights to inform advice and decision-making. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise in data analysis, dashboard development, and performance reporting. The Manager will work as part of a collaborative team in the Delivery Unit, with PAG Advisors, senior leaders and data leads across government.

Delivery Unit experience in New Zealand or elsewhere is highly desirable. Proven experience in data analysis, dashboard development, and performance reporting. Familiarity with New Zealand's public sector and government priorities is an advantage. Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
Proficiency in data visualisation tools (e. g. , Power BI, Tableau) and data analysis software (e. g. , Excel, R, Python).
