Job PurposeThe Deposit Mobilization Officer is responsible for growing the bank’s deposit base by identifying, sourcing, and managing relationships with individual and institutional clients. The role focuses on achieving liability generation targets, promoting savings and investment products, and ensuring client satisfaction while strictly complying with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Deposit Mobilization & Business DevelopmentProactively source new deposit clients through prospecting, cold-calling, referrals, and networking.Mobilize deposits from individuals, high-net-worth clients, SMEs, corporates, and associations.Market and promote liability products such as savings, current accounts, fixed deposits, investment notes, and special schemes.Achieve assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual deposit mobilization targets.Design and execute innovative strategies for increasing low-cost deposits.Build and maintain long-term relationships with deposit clients by providing excellent customer service.Ensure timely communication of maturity dates, rates, rollover options, and product features.Monitor market trends, competitor deposit products, and interest rate movements.Ensure all deposits are sourced in compliance with regulatory (e.g., CBN/BOG/CBK) and internal KYC/AML policies.Location: LagosQualification: NCE/ND, HND, BSC.Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years in deposit mobilization, investment, or wealth management within the financial sector.Benefits:HMOPensionLeave Allowance13th Month Bonus
