From hybrid working to flexible hours, we have plenty of options that help our people to thrive.This role is based in Luxembourg and as such all normal working days must be carried out in Luxembourg.Job DescriptionJoin us as a Depositary Monitoring & Control OfficerThis position is for RBS International Depositary Services S.A., a proud member of the NatWest Group.We’re looking for someone to help assess and make sure we adhere to a culture of adequate and effective control and testing across the businessYou’ll play a key role in minimising regulatory and operational risk across the business through the design and implementation of our Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework and other regulatory frameworksWe’ll provide you with the opportunity to build strong working relationships with key stakeholders in this role, giving you and your work lots of exposureWhat you'll doAs a Depositary Monitoring & Control Officer, you’ll be assisting in the delivery of an effective and compliant operational risk framework regime for the business area. This will involve undertaking control testing, highlighting findings, and working with the business and key partners to remediate and implement fit-for-purpose solutions.You’ll also be:Supporting the Business Risk team with the delivery and implementation of different projectsIdentifying and documenting control failings, process improvements, and the effectiveness of the business controls against policyHelping to develop and improve the test plan operating model with an aim to improving effectiveness and efficiency without increasing riskProactively identifying and effectively managing conduct risk to deliver key customer outcomesThe skills you'll needTo join us in this role, you’ll need in-depth knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and a good understanding of the Enterprise Wide Risk Management Framework.You’ll also demonstrate:The ability to identify and mitigate riskGood negotiating and conflict resolution skillsExcellent written and spoken communication skills and the ability to adapt to a target audienceA proven ability to build fit-for-purpose solutions for internal and external clients
