Energypac Power Generation PLC is looking for Deputy/Assistant Manager, Legal AffairsKey PointsThis position is responsible for supporting the Legal Department in managing and overseeing the company`s legal activities.Job Description / ResponsibilityManage the overall legal issues of the organization coordinating and corresponding with all concerned stakeholders both internal and external.Provide appropriate and timely solutions to concerned departments in a variety of legal matters including but not limited to business contracts, company policies, tax law, criminal law, labor law, credit recovery, corporate finance, issues relating to banking and other legal issues.Will be responsible for risk minimization in legal aspects (if any) and work closely with management to devise sustainable defense strategies.Apply effective risk management techniques and offer proactive advice on possible legal issues by evaluating different risk factors regarding business decisions and operations.Drafting and screening of various legal documents and contracts pertaining to business, property, legal notice, non-disclosure agreements, intellectual property rights, tender documents, arbitration, and other legal documents.Play the key role in credit recovery through appropriate legal action or negotiation on behalf of the company.Liaison with relevant government offices and other competent authorities if necessary.Ensure compliance with applicable laws necessary for the company.File cases on behalf of the company and act as a representative of the organization while dealing with the law enforcement authorities, court or with any other appropriate concerned authority.Maintains custody of legal documents of the company and prepare the required legal documents for trial or court proceedings.Communicate with external lawyers, legal firms, and with legal consultants in applicable cases as needed.Co-ordinate and make arrangements for proceeding with arbitration and act as a negotiator, playing a role in dispute resolution and litigation management processes.Attend the meetings /conferences as and when required /directed by superiors.Ensure the company’s compliance with laws and regulations relevant to its operations.Support the development and implementation of best practices in legal risk management.Special assignments and other duties as and when required.Educational RequirementsBachelor of Law (LLB)Master of Law (LLM)Skills Required: Legal Affairs, Legal issues, Legal CompliancesExperience Requirements8 to 10 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Manufacturing (Light Engineering and Heavy Industry),Engineering Firms,PowerWork ExperienceMinimum of 8-10 years of experience in a legal role, ideally within a corporate or commercial setting.Additional RequirementsStrong knowledge of legal principles and procedures.Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply legal concepts to various business operations as needed.Ability to identify and analyze complex legal issues and recommend best possible solutions which includes drafting complex legal documents.Strong negotiation, interpersonal and leadership skills.Excellent verbal communication & listening skills.Proficiency in writing, editing & proofreading legal documents.Capability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.Meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.High level of integrity, professionalism, and discretion.
