Deputy Chief Executive Officer (Industrial Materials)

Position: Deputy Chief Executive Officer 📍 Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City, VietnamAbout the RoleOur client is a leading player in the industrial materials and metals distribution sector, serving manufacturing clients across Vietnam and the region. The company is entering a new growth phase and seeks a Deputy CEO to partner closely with the CEO in driving organizational transformation and commercial expansion.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and oversee nationwide operations across multiple business units, ensuring strong commercial performance and operational efficiency.Develop and execute strategies to scale the business from mid-size to large-scale enterprise level.Strengthen management systems: build KPI frameworks, drive P&L discipline, and enhance collaboration across functions.Restructure teams and processes to improve agility, alignment, and growth readiness.Guide BU Heads and functional leaders through change management and leadership development.Drive pricing strategy, margin optimization, and customer segmentation to uplift profitability.Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including FDI clients, partners, and suppliers.QualificationsMinimum 10–12 years in B2B industrial or distribution sectors, including at least 5 years in senior leadership (C-level or GM) with full P&L responsibility.Proven experience working with multinational/FDI clients and managing compliance-driven accounts.Track record of business scale-up within 3–5 years.Hands-on experience in organizational redesign and change leadership.Strong commercial mindset with expertise in pricing, sales transformation, and strategic account management.Excellent system thinking, able to connect strategy with execution and prioritize multiple initiatives.Preferred BackgroundsSenior leaders (COO / GM / Commercial Director) from industrial distribution, manufacturing, or chemical/materials trading companies.Executives with both strategic and operational depth who thrive in dynamic, fast-growing environments.Contact point:Ms. Nguyen - nguyendiep@talentvis.com Linkedin: https://www.linkedin.com/in/diep-nguyen-thao/
