The secret to our success is that our unified team works harder, faster, smarter and more collaboratively than anyone else in the talent acquisition business."About our Client:Our client is one of the leading Retail Groups from Vietnam.About the Job Opportunity (Deputy Chief Officer):Responsibilities: Collaborate with the CEO and executive board to develop and implement corporate strategy, business plans, and long-term growth initiatives.Translate the company’s vision and mission into actionable operational goals.Lead cross-functional projects to expand store networks, upgrade store formats, or enhance digital/omnichannel capabilities.Ensure alignment between departments and drive consistent execution of corporate objectives.Oversee end-to-end store operations across all supermarket branches to ensure consistent standards of quality, service, and efficiency.Work closely with regional/district managers to optimize sales performance, cost control, inventory management, and customer satisfaction.Ensure operational KPIs (sales growth, productivity, shrinkage, waste reduction) are achieved.Champion continuous improvement initiatives in processes, systems, and people management.Partner with the Chief Commercial Officer and merchandising team to optimize product assortment, pricing, promotions, and supplier performance.Identify and evaluate new market opportunities—such as store format diversification (mini-marts, convenience, e-commerce).Support the negotiation of major contracts with key suppliers, distributors, and landlords.Monitor consumer trends and competitor activity to inform business strategy and brand positioning.Work with the CFO to develop budgets, business forecasts, and P&L plans for all business units.Monitor financial performance, profitability, and ROI across departments.Identify cost-optimization and revenue-enhancement opportunities without compromising quality.Ensure adherence to internal control systems and compliance with regulatory requirements.Build and lead a high-performance management team; mentor department heads and regional managers.Foster a performance-driven culture that encourages accountability, collaboration, and innovation.Lead organizational change initiatives—digital transformation, workforce upskilling, and culture renewal.Partner with HR to strengthen talent pipelines and succession planning for key leadership roles.Drive initiatives that enhance customer satisfaction, loyalty, and engagement across all touchpoints.Oversee consistent store branding, merchandising, cleanliness, and service delivery.Ensure that all customer-facing processes align with the company’s values and standards.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Retail Management, or related field; MBA preferred.Minimum 12–15 years of experience in retail operations (supermarket management is referred), including at least 5 years in executive or senior leadership roles.Proven success in leading multi-site retail operations and large workforces.Deep understanding of supply chain, merchandising, store operations, and retail financials.Experience with business transformation, digital retail (e-commerce, loyalty programs), and omnichannel strategy is an advantage.Strong leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder-management skills.Excellent communication in both English and Vietnamese.Packages: Attractive
