Deputy Country Manager Working Location:Lainate, Lombardy, ItalyResponsibilities:Oversee and manage daily logistics operations, ensuring efficient warehousing, inventory management, and distribution.Develop and execute strategic plans to support rapid growth while maintaining high service standards for cross-border e-commerce and local FMCG clients.Lead, mentor, and inspire a professional team, fostering a positive work culture that drives operational performance.Monitor KPIs, identify operational bottlenecks, and implement improvements to optimize business performance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, IT, and Customer Service to meet customer expectations and streamline the supply chain.Ensure compliance with local regulations and industry standards, adapting operational plans as business needs evolve.Requirements:Proven leadership and management experience, with the ability to manage large teams and complex logistics operations; experience in express logistics is a plus.Fluent in Italian and English, with strong business communication skills.Deep understanding of Italian business culture and process management practices.Strong problem-solving skills and expertise in operational efficiency and strategic growth.Knowledge of warehouse systems, inventory management, and logistics software.Proactive, hands-on, and adaptable to a fast-paced, evolving environment.Fimilar with last mile delivery is a plus.Interested candidate please directly apply this job post or send your updated CV to shirley.zhou@gateway-search.comAll applications will be treated with strictest confidence.
