Job Description

Purpose:This role will play a crucial part in driving sales growth and market expansion initiatives. Will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the sales and marketing functions within the plant, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.Key Responsibilities:Should collaborate with the General Manager to develop comprehensive sales strategies and plans aimed at achieving revenue targets and market penetration objectives.Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Utilize insights to inform strategic decision-making and product development efforts.Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique requirements and preferences. Proactively address customer inquiries, concerns, and feedback to enhance satisfaction and retention.Provide leadership and guidance to the sales and marketing team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Set clear performance expectations, monitor progress, and provide ongoing coaching and development opportunities.Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote our elastic products and enhance brand visibility in the market. Collaborate with cross- functional teams to create compelling marketing collateral, advertising campaigns, and promotional activities.Monitor sales performance metrics, track market trends, and analyze data to forecast future sales volumes and revenue projections accurately. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting key insights, challenges, and opportunities.Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory requirements in all sales and marketing activities. Work closely with production and quality assurance teams to maintain product quality and consistency, addressing any issues promptly.Develop and manage the sales and marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to maximize ROI and achieve business objectives. Monitor expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and maintain financial disciplineQualifications and Experience:Educational Qualifications:Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Management or related field.Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, or related field. Professional Experience:8 to 10 years’ experience in Sales and Marketing preferably in the manufacturing or industrial sector.4 to 5 years’ experience in a Sales and Marketing Leadership roleStrong understanding of sales principles, marketing techniques, and customer relationship management strategiesPersonal Characteristics / Behaviour:Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset and a track record of driving sales growth.Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team, fostering a culture of high performance and collaboration.Proficiency in Microsoft Office package.
