Job Description

ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the electrical execution activities for thermal power plant projects, ensuring alignment with project schedules, quality standards, and budget. - Plan, organize, and oversee electrical installation works including power distribution, control panels, switchgear, transformers, motors, and instrumentation wiring. - Coordinate with project planning, procurement, and site teams to facilitate smooth material flow and timely execution of electrical tasks. - Interpret electrical drawings, Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), wiring diagrams, and technical specifications to develop detailed execution plans. - Supervise subcontractors and site electrical teams, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, compliance with statutory regulations, and quality workmanship. - Conduct site inspections, daily progress monitoring, and prepare reports to track electrical installation and commissioning activities. - Identify and troubleshoot electrical execution issues, implementing corrective actions swiftly to minimize downtime. - Ensure compliance with international and Indian electrical standards and codes, including IEC, IEEE, and IS standards relevant to thermal power plants. - Collaborate with design and engineering teams to resolve technical issues and optimize electrical system performance. - Drive continuous improvement initiatives in electrical execution processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve safety outcomes. - Support commissioning and start-up teams by providing expert technical guidance on electrical systems and equipment. - Foster a culture of safety, teamwork, and accountability aligned with Adani’s core values. - Mentor and develop junior electrical engineers and technicians, sharing knowledge and best practices. - Maintain thorough documentation of electrical work, including test records, inspection reports, and compliance certifications. - Engage with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies as necessary to ensure seamless project execution and customer satisfaction.QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent from a recognized university or institute.
