Kung Keng Textile (BD) Co., Ltd. (A sister concern of Labib Group) is looking for Deputy Manager/Manager - Dyeing (Hanks Cabinet & Spray Dyeing)Job Description / Responsibility1. Production Planning & ControlPrepare and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules for cabinet and spray dyeingOptimize machine loading and manpower allocation to achieve production targetsCoordinate with planning, lab, and finishing departments for smooth workflowMonitor production output against targets and address deviations promptly2. Dyeing Process ManagementApprove dyeing recipes, machine settings, Strong Color Matching Knowledge for 100% Acrylic, Acrylic Mélange, Acrylic Cashmere like, Cotton Like, Acrylic Tube, Nylon Feather, Nylon Cat Feather, Polyester Mossy, Nylon Mossy, PBT, Eco Vero PBT, Acrylic Nylon Tape, 60/40 Cotton Acrylic, Acrylic Wool etc.Supervise cabinet and spray dyeing operations to ensure uniform shade and qualityMaintain standard operating parameters for temperature, pH, liquor ratio, and timeSupport lab-to-bulk shade reproducibility and resolve technical dyeing challenges3. Quality AssuranceEnsure all dyed lots meet shade, tone, and fastness standards as per customer specificationsCoordinate with the laboratory for shade matching, trials, and approvalAnalyze and correct shade variations, patchiness, or other dyeing defectsMaintain documentation of quality checks, test reports, and customer approvals4. Process Optimization & Cost ControlMonitor and control dye, chemical, water, and energy consumptionImplement process improvements to reduce re-dyeing, waste, and rejection ratesDrive continuous improvement projects to enhance dyeing efficiency and reduce production costsEnsure preventive maintenance schedules are followed to avoid machine downtime5. Product & Process DevelopmentDevelop new shades, dyeing effects, and techniques for fancy yarnsCollaborate with R&D to test and adopt new dyes, auxiliaries, and eco-friendly chemicalsEvaluate new machinery, automation, and dyeing technologies for process enhancement6. Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead and mentor dyeing supervisors, color masters, and operatorsConduct regular training on dyeing techniques, safety, and chemical handlingPromote teamwork, accountability, and continuous learning within the departmentEvaluate staff performance and support career development7. Safety, Health & EnvironmentEnforce safe handling and storage of dyes and chemicals as per MSDSEnsure compliance with environmental norms, ETP functioning, and waste management protocolsMaintain clean, organized, and hazard-free working areasPromote sustainability through water and energy conservation initiatives8. Documentation & ReportingMaintain accurate batch cards, recipe logs, and production reportsTrack and report production efficiency, cost variance, and quality performance to managementEnsure audit readiness and compliance documentation for buyers and certifying agencies9. Interdepartmental CoordinationLiaise with planning, quality assurance, maintenance, and dispatch teams for smooth workflowCoordinate with merchandising for shade approval and production status updatesSupport maintenance in planning machine servicing and technical upgradesEducational RequirementsBachelor of Science (BSc) in Textile EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Textile EngineeringMaster of Science (MSc) in Applied ChemistrySkills Required: Organizational Skills, Yarn Dyeing, Technical Skills, Knitting and Dyeing, Team management, Chemical analysisExperience Requirements10 to 12 year(s)The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s):Textile,Group of Companies,Sweater Industry,Dyeing FactoryAdditional RequirementsMinimum 10–12 years of experience in yarn dyeing (preferably hanks or cabinet/spray dyeing)Must have hands-on experience with acrylic, PBT, Wool, and fancy yarn dyeingExperience in managing large dyeing operations and leading technical teams Strong technical knowledge of synthetic yarn dyeing, dye classes, and color matchingSound understanding of cabinet and spray dyeing machinesAnalytical and problem-solving abilities for shade correction and process optimizationLeadership, communication, and team management skillsData-driven approach with strong reporting and documentation abilitiesKnowledge of safety, environmental, and sustainability standardsJob LocationDhaka (Savar EPZ)
