Deputy Sales Director- Contract Logistics

JOB PURPOSE:Lead and support the development of warehousing services by identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Ensure that warehousing solutions are competitive, customer-focused, and aligned with the company’s logistics strategy. JOB DESCRIPTION1. Strategic DevelopmentAssist in defining and implementing the long-term vision and strategy for warehousing services.Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer demands to position the company competitively.Support digital transformation and sustainable warehousing practices.2. Business Growth & PartnershipsIdentify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities in warehousing and distribution.Develop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, suppliers, and partners.Negotiate contracts, service agreements, and pricing strategies to maximize profitability.Drive initiatives to expand warehousing capacity and service offerings.3. Operations & Solution DesignCollaborate with operations teams to design and deliver tailored warehousing solutions.Ensure service quality, operational efficiency, and compliance with industry standards.Support the implementation of new projects and smooth handover to operations.4. Financial & Performance ManagementContribute to managing P&L for warehousing business units.Analyze cost structures, propose optimization measures, and ensure profitability.Establish KPIs and monitor performance metrics to track business growth and efficiency.5. Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop the business development team for warehousing.Promote a culture of innovation, customer excellence, and continuous improvement.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (Operations, Finance, Sales) to ensure alignment.6.
