Derivatives Operations Analyst

We’re seeking a detail-oriented and organized Derivatives Analyst to join a leading global financial services firm. This role supports derivatives onboarding for investment management and insurance portfolios, ensuring operational readiness across trading, legal, and middle-office functions.📍 Location: Boston, MA or Toronto, ON (Hybrid – Tuesday to Thursday onsite) 💼 Duration: 1-year contract with strong potential for extension or conversion 💰 Pay Rate: $35–$40/hr (based on experience) 🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PMWhat You’ll Do:Execute onboarding processes for exchange-traded, OTC, and cleared derivativesCoordinate with internal teams and external brokers to support trading readinessMaintain accurate records and ensure compliance with audit and legal requirementsIdentify process improvements and support operational efficiency initiativesWhat We’re Looking For:3+ years of relevant financial industry experienceStrong organizational and analytical skills with exceptional attention to detailProficiency in MS Office; familiarity with derivatives is an assetExcellent communication and relationship-building abilitiesBachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or related fieldIf you thrive in a structured, high-precision environment and enjoy managing multiple priorities, we’d love to hear from you.
