KantorGG is dedicated to crafting architectural sanctuaries that foster lasting connections and a timeless legacy.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Design Architect, based in Surabaya, Indonesia. The Design Architect will lead architectural projects from concept to completion, including developing innovative designs, preparing detailed construction drawings, and ensuring alignment with client needs. The role also involves collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, managing design processes, and ensuring projects meet functional and aesthetic requirements.Education & ExperienceHigher Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a reputable university.Experience: Minimum 3-4 years of professional experience as a Design Architect, with a proven track record of success in high-end contemporary, commercial, or residential architectural projects.Technical Proficiency (Software & Knowledge)BIM & 3D Modeling: Advanced proficiency (Expert Level) in using Autodesk Revit (strongly preferred) for modeling and documentation.Design & Visualization: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp/Rhino, and the ability to produce high-quality visual renderings using engines such as V-Ray, Enscape, or Lumion.Project Documentation: Ability to prepare a detailed and accurate set of working drawings (DED), technical specifications, and a Cost Budget Plan (RAB).Standard Knowledge: Strong understanding of building regulations, safety codes, and sustainable design/green building principles.Non-Technical Skills (Soft Skills & Design Acumen)Contemporary Portfolio: Able to present a portfolio showcasing innovative, experimental, and unconventional design thinking, with a focus on modern spatial composition and materials.Communication & Presentation: Ability to present complex design concepts convincingly and visually to clients and key stakeholders.Adaptability: Able to work efficiently under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Collaboration: Team-oriented and effective in coordinating with Structural Engineers, MEPs, Interior Designers, and construction teams.
