This is a hands‑on technical position, supporting a variety of projects across consultancy work. If you enjoy turning concepts and idea sketches into detailed technical drawings and have a particular interest in plasterboard systems, this could be a great fit.Key Responsibilities Produce accurate 2D AutoCAD drawings from sketches, plans, or briefings Assist in design detailing, especially in relation to plasterboard and interior finishing systems Coordinate with architects, design consultants, site teams & project managers to ensure drawings meet project requirements Update, amend and maintain drawing packages and documentation Assist with technical specifications as needed Support preparation of construction / tender drawings as guided by senior designers/techniciansSkills & Experience Proficiency in AutoCAD is essential Experience working on plasterboard, partitioning, drywall or internal lining systems is a significant advantage Some experience within construction consultancy, architectural / interior fit‑out or similar sectors preferable Strong attention to detail and ability to work with accuracy under deadlines Good communication skills; comfortable liaising with multiple stakeholders (designers, site staff, clients) Organised, reliable, and a team playerWhat You’ll Get Salary up to £27,000 commensurate with experience Opportunity to work with a busy consultancy on varied and interesting projects Access to professional development and learning on key design systems / detailing Supportive work environment in Maidstone with potential for growthHow To ApplyIf you’re a Design / AutoCAD Technician looking to grow your skillset in a consultancy setting, especially with plasterboard work, we’d love to hear from you.
