Job Description

The Design Engineer is responsible for the design, development, review, and approval of new delivery stations and enhancements to existing stations. This role involves providing engineering design expertise, including material flow, labor placement, and site layout, while collaborating with various teams to implement new standards and process improvements.Must Have SkillsProficiency in project management and construction.Experience in time studies, industrial and continuous improvement, and workflow analysis.Experience with AutoCAD for CAD design.Background in industrial engineering or building design.Experience with process and workflow improvements.ResponsibilitiesBuild, develop, review, and release designs for new delivery stations and station capacity enhancements.Provide process expertise on engineering design, including material flow, labor placement, conveyors, operations modules, packaging profiles, and site layout.Collaborate with Design Managers, CAD drafters, Real Estate Transaction managers, and other relevant teams to ensure project success.Implement new design standards in collaboration with World Wide Design, Safety, Process Engineering, and other teams.Support new expansion, retrofit, and process improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, productivity, and capacity.Implement new template designs and process improvements into standard designs.Facilitate cross-functional project-specific reviews to collaborate on design solutions.Additional Skills & QualificationsBachelor's degree in engineering or equivalent industrial and operations background.3 to 5 years of experience in process and building layout design and development, preferably in a fast-paced industrial, logistics, distribution, fulfillment, or production/manufacturing environment.Proficiency in design tools such as AutoCAD, MS Visio, and Solidworks.Strong Process Engineering and Project Management skills.Ability to build strong working relationships with business partners and key stakeholders.High level of written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.Work EnvironmentThis position requires working onsite three days a week. The worksite is located at the Everest building in Bellevue, WA. Candidates must be willing to adhere to this onsite work requirement.Job Type & LocationThis is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, WA.
