Design Engineer I - Electric Utility Projects

What You’ll DoThe objective of this role is to scope, design and develop electrical service systems for new customers.You will be responsible for customer interaction, scoping and cost estimation.You will be responsible for providing a design package that meets customer needs.You will often meet with the customer and construction crews on site to review the scope of our design and discuss project execution.Client Facing ExperienceThis is a primarily work-from-home position that has required fieldwork we’re hiring across PPL Electric Utilities’ service territory including: Lock Haven, Bloomsburg, Sunbury, Scranton, Wilkes-Barre, Hazleton, East Stroudsburg, Allentown, Bethlehem, Easton, Harrisburg, Hershey, Lancaster, Doylestown, and nearby areas.Required QualificationsBachelor's Degree in engineering at ABET accredited universityMinimum 1-3 years of electrical distribution design experience or technical background Construction SupportNot quite right for you?
