What You’ll DoApplies technical knowledge to designs and ensures projects meet specificationsCommunicates challenges about scope, cost, schedule and qualityWorks with Designers and Drafters to complete design packagesGains an understanding of CAD programs and the software analysis tools utilized in engineering designSupports the preparation of simple to moderately complex designs or small portions of larger projects, including calculations and drawingsLeads the development of their discipline's design on simple projects, and supports complex projects, including simple to moderately difficult technical analysesInteracts with clients on a limited basisUnderstands and applies appropriate industry codes, standards, and regulationsConducts communications in a professional and clear manner; communications are timely and in an appropriate format for the topic.Identifies information to be communicated to the client and project stakeholders through team leads and project managers.Self-checks work assignments prior to submitting for review, completes work with minimal errors. Participates in peer reviews and QC reviews.Required QualificationsBachelors Degree in engineering at ABET accredited university3-5 years of electrical distribution design experience OR 5-7+ years of electrical utility design experience.Design Review ExperienceClient Facing Experience / construction support.Team leadershipNot quite right for you?
