Job DescriptionWe’re looking for a Design Engineer - someone who thrives at the intersection of product design and frontend development.In this role, you’ll own features end-to-end: from designing polished interfaces to implementing them using React or Vue. You’ll collaborate closely with product and growth teams in a fast-paced, high-trust environment where you’ll ship meaningful user-facing work with autonomy.This is a unique opportunity to shape product experiences in a startup that values speed, clean design, and functional beauty. Candidates should be readily available to onboard, if selected.To Note: Hourly rate range (55 - 70) is in Euros per hour. Final rate will be determined by the hiring manager based on candidate experience, seniority, and overall fit.What You’ll Do:Design features, user flows, and UI components in Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, or similar design tools. Build responsive, maintainable UIs using React or Vue.jsTranslate product ideas into elegant, intuitive interfacesOwn the full implementation process - from concept to productionApply basic Python knowledge to work with backend APIs and integrationsCollaborate with engineering, design, and marketing as the team growsHelp us move fast and make thoughtful product decisions along the wayWhat We’re Looking For:Strong experience with design tools (Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Framer, etc.)and a track record of product-focused design workSolid frontend development experience in React or Vue.jsWillingness to learn and switch between frontend frameworks as neededWorking knowledge of Python (you won’t architect the backend, but should be API-fluent)A portfolio (or GitHub + Figma examples) that shows you can design and implement featuresComfortable working independently in a remote, fast-moving, startup-like environmentBased in or near a Europe-compatible time zoneNice to Have:Experience working on growth teams or fast-shipping product squadsFamiliarity with e-commerce, SaaS, or marketing-driven product environmentsUnderstanding of conversion-focused design or A/B testingWhy This Role is Exciting:True end-to-end ownership of your work - no design/developer silosWork closely with the CTO and growth team to shape product directionRemote-first and async-friendly cultureLean, fast-paced team where your impact is visible from day oneOpportunity to define how design and engineering work together as the company scales
