Join SPX FLOW as a Design EngineerLocation: Örebro, Sweden About The RoleWe are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to join our team and take ownership of the Johnson Pump Marine product line, with a focus on seawater engine cooling pumps. In this role, you will drive product development, manage projects from concept through to start of production (SOP), and provide vital engineering support to our internal sales teams, OEM customers, and manufacturers.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the development, design, and project management of the JP Marine product portfolio.Manage projects ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and collaboration with the Engineering Manager.Work closely with sales, operations, product management, and customer support to deliver technical expertise and solutions.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to products and accessories.Maintain direct communication with OEM customers, addressing technical requests and specifications.Oversee prototyping activities and liaise with suppliers during product development stages.Prepare technical and commercial specifications for new product development (NPD) projects.Ensure accurate registration of new part numbers in SAP and manage change control processes.Stay updated with relevant standards, such as CE marking, and lead OEM meetings.Develop technical documentation including reports, manuals, drawings, calculations, and analyses.Monitor manufacturing and testing phases to ensure products meet specifications and quality standards.Contribute to product rationalization, standardization, and continuous improvement initiatives.What You’ll BringWe would love to see the following:Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronic Engineering.Minimum of 3 years of design experience, preferably in automotive, rail, or mechanical engineering sectors.Proven project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.Experience with Inventor or SolidEdge CAD software.Familiarity with SAP or similar business management systems.Fluent in Swedish and English Strong problem-solving skills, open-mindedness, and a proactive approach to learning and innovation.Why Join Us?Be part of a supportive, collaborative, and solution-oriented team.Work with exciting marine technology products in a dynamic and innovative environment.Performance and recognition programs.Genuine opportunities for career development within a global organization.Access to mental health and wellness resources.Next StepsDoes this sound like your next challenge?
