You can expect high impact and wide-ranging responsibility: owning full-cycle recruiting on niche design searches, contributing to our geo strategy with talent market insights, and delivering best-in-class candidate experience. This person must be a builder who thrives in a learning environment—unafraid to try new things, embrace new ideas, navigate ambiguity, and welcome suggestions for how we can iterate on our processes.

ResponsibilitiesPartner with senior leaders across the design organization to understand hiring objectives and develop recruiting strategies to identify top talent across various skillsets including product design, brand design, content design, design engineering, web presence design, UX research, and more.

Help initiate creative and scalable changes to our existing recruiting processesTrack and analyze metrics and report on hiring progress to design leadership on a regular cadenceFocus on creating strategic plans to attract and engage design talent across different geosWork closely with cross-functional teams like Finance, People Ops, Benefits, Onboarding and Legal to deliver a high-quality and holistic candidate experienceMinimum Requirements7+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience with 4+ years of Design Recruiting experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, including in house experienceExperience building high performing, high craft design teams and delivering an exceptional candidate experienceA growth mindset and truly flexible.

You can shift tasks and priorities when circumstances change (at a fast-growing startup, they often do)An active and data driven approach to problem solving; you enjoy making sense of the trends and using the insights to better your process to make it more efficientProven abilities to attract passive senior candidates and build a diverse pipelines across different hiring locationsStrong operational rigor with the ability to stay organized amidst changeExcellent verbal and written communication skills, with an appropriate blend of professionalism and friendlinessHybrid work at StripeOffice-assigned Stripes spend at least 50% of the time in a given month in their local office or with users.

This hits a balance between bringing people together for in-person collaboration and learning from each other, while supporting flexibility about how to do this in a way that makes sense for individuals and their teams. Pay and benefitsThe annual US base salary range for this role is $143,200 - $214,800. For sales roles, the range provided is the role’s On Target Earnings ("OTE") range, meaning that the range includes both the sales commissions/sales bonuses target and annual base salary for the role.

This salary range may be inclusive of several career levels at Stripe and will be narrowed during the interview process based on a number of factors, including the candidate’s experience, qualifications, and location. Applicants interested in this role and who are not located in the US may request the annual salary range for their location during the interview process. Additional benefits for this role may include: equity, company bonus or sales commissions/bonuses; 401(k) plan; medical, dental, and vision benefits; and wellness stipends.
