Design Student - Sahco, Copenhagen

Sahco is seeking a Design Development Student to join our Design Team in Copenhagen.The position starts in January 2026, and we are looking for someone who can stay with us for at least one year, preferably longer.As part of the team, you will assist in the development of curtain and upholstery textiles for upcoming collections. Your daily work will involve a variety of tasks across different departments, requiring strong organizational skills and the ability to coordinate multiple projects at once.Your tasks will include (but are not limited to):Supporting the design team with seasonal projectsOrganizing and maintaining collection samplesCutting and preparing samplesUpdating the textile archivePreparing and maintaining digital overviewsAssisting with colour cards and samples for testingConducting research on competitors, artworks, and seasonal inspirationHandling freight, shipping, and messaging servicesContributing to office planning and logisticsYour competencies:A natural eye for and interest in woven textilesStrong sense of colour and attention to detailExcellent team player, proactive, and adaptableHighly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyStrong communication skills in spoken and written EnglishProficiency in Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, and ExcelExperience with digital artworks (preferred)Currently studying textile design or fashion designA proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independentlyCurious?It is an opportunity to supplement your education with relevant experience within your subject and gain insight into one the textile industry.
